xtype is an essential tool for organizations with multiple ServiceNow instances. We are able to monitor development work across all instances through a single UI page, removing the need to login to each instance. xtype is used for promoting all completed development work captured in Update Sets. Automatically synchronizing promoted update sets to the rest of our development instances; removing the need to manually retrieve, preview, and commit. This is accomplished without the need of the System Administrator role, enhancing security by reducing the need for assigning elevated privileges. xtype has allowed us to be more effective and efficient, all while providing excellent customer support.
Game Changer!!! The introduction of xtype has been transformative for our operations. Previously, managing code segregation and defect determination required significant manual effort across 15 non-production instances on two platforms. With xtype’s automation capabilities and streamlined code deployment processes, tasks that once took days can now be completed within minutes.
