GLG, an independent research firm, surveyed 50 compliance teams at ServiceNow customers in regulated industries for a 2026 study. Producing audit-ready reports is the function's sharpest pain point, named by 76% of respondents. 64% build those reports by hand, spending more than 20 hours a month.

A large enterprise typically runs a ServiceNow estate spanning development, test, and production instances.
