Overview

xtype is seeking a Strategic Enterprise Development Representative to accelerate growth and drive pipeline creation at a pivotal stage in our journey. This role focuses on executive-level outbound prospecting, building relationships with senior IT and business leaders, and shaping our go-to-market strategy.

As a key member of the outbound team, you will create and qualify opportunities, provide market feedback, and partner with leadership to refine outreach. You’ll help drive adoption of xtype Enterprise - our built-in technical governance platform for ServiceNow - delivering visibility, control, orchestration, and compliance for global enterprises in regulated industries.

Backed by a recent $21M Series A led by Norwest and ServiceNow Ventures, xtype is expanding rapidly. We’re looking for a consultative, enterprise-savvy BDR with strong prospecting skills and account strategy expertise to help us capture new logos and fuel our growth.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Outbound Prospecting & Executive Engagement: Drive campaigns targeting senior IT leaders and executives within the ServiceNow ecosystem through highly personalized messaging that builds credibility and accelerates sales velocity.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy Execution & Market Intelligence: Test messaging frameworks and engagement tactics while providing structured market feedback to inform product positioning and campaign optimization.
  • Enterprise Pipeline Development & Revenue Growth: Consistently exceed activity and pipeline targets by leveraging advanced sales technology and innovative prospecting methodologies to create high-quality revenue opportunities.
  • Strategic Account Planning & Multi-Threading: Create account maps, conduct intel calls and build multi-threaded relationships across ServiceNow ecosystem through hyper-personalized outreach, leveraging AI and account intelligence to engage new stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Alignment: Partner with sales leadership, marketing, the partnership team and solution consultants to ensure outbound efforts align with broader go-to-market priorities and revenue objectives.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Campaign Execution: Collaborate with marketing to design and execute targeted ABM initiatives for high-value enterprise prospects, driving coordinated multi-touch campaigns.
  • Discovery & Opportunity Qualification: Conduct discovery conversations and intel calls using advanced qualification methodologies to ensure seamless handoffs to enterprise account executives.
  • Brand Ambassadorship & Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, executive forums, and webinars while building strategic market relationships and positioning company expertise.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years of enterprise BDR/SDR sales experience (SaaS preferred), with a proven track record of generating qualified pipeline through executive-level prospecting.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct account mapping, multithreaded engagement, and highly personalized outreach to senior IT and business stakeholders leveraging AI.
  • Combined with analytical mindset and ability to drive activity and numbers.
  • Familiarity with ABM strategies and collaboration with marketing teams to drive targeted campaigns.
  • Strong communication and executive presence, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in regulated industries such as financial services, pharma, and manufacturing.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter mindset with resilience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with our tech stack - advantage.
